GEO · Tier-0 Technical Access Gate

Can AI actually read your site?

Before any authority work matters, AI engines have to clear five technical gates on your site — crawl, render, index, snippet, fetch. This runs a live probe, fetching your page the way an AI crawler does, and tells you in plain language what’s leaking and how to fix it.

The AI-search funnel
STAGE 01
Access
Can AI crawl, render & index you?
↑ THIS TOOL CHECKS HERE
STAGE 02
Understanding
Does AI know who you are?
STAGE 03
Inclusion
Does AI trust you enough to cite you?

Authority lives in stages 2–3. None of it counts until stage 1 — access — passes. AI can’t trust, understand, or cite a page it can’t even read.

The render trap most sites fall into

Full page — headline, copy, CTA — rendered by JavaScript.
WHAT AN AI CRAWLER SEES
<div id="root"></div>// empty — nothing to cite
An empty shell — the content never loaded.

Most AI crawlers — GPTBot, PerplexityBot, CCBot — don’t run JavaScript. A client-rendered SPA looks empty to them, so they conclude there’s nothing to cite and move on. No amount of authority fixes a page the engine can’t read.

The five gates
0.1
AI bot access
GPTBot, PerplexityBot, CCBot allowed in robots.txt
0.2
Raw-HTML render
Real content visible without JavaScript
0.3
Indexability
No stray noindex blocking Google & Bing
0.4
Snippet eligibility
No nosnippet rule killing AI Overviews
0.5
Availability
Page returns a healthy 200 response

One failing gate is enough to keep you out of the answer — which is why this check runs before any authority or content work.
